and then on Monday 2 glorious hours in the Cotswold hills & mud.
Smiling at the end of the ride (tram way descent) and I even remembered to breath in :)
First thoughts:
- The longer wheelbase gave me the confidence to ride a large stone step descent for the first time.
- Improved handling on the muddy Birdlip single tracks.
- Realisation that the big benefit of discs is no rim brakes to clog up and hold heavy Cotswold mud.
- Gears as standard are OK for 'cross races but not the Cotswold hills and the Three Peaks.
- 36-46 chainring changed to 33-46 (TA Zephyr 33T 110 BCD)
- 11-28 block changed to 11-32
